Death Knight was introduced from the Wrath of the Litch King Expansion. The new class is great for tanking and DPS. If you are looking for a PvP death knight build, you are at the right place. If you have at least one level 55+ character in your server, you can have your Death Knight starts at level 55. And you can only have one Death Knight class per person per server.

There are three presences for your death knight, the frost presence, the unholy presence and the blood presence.

  • Frost Presence: Total health is increased by 10%, spell damage taken is reduced by 5% and armor contribution from items is increased by 60%. Threat generated also increases.
  • Unholy Presence: Attack speed and movement speed are increased by 15% and the global cooldown on all abilities is reduced by 0.5 sec.
  • Blood Presence: Damage is increased by 15% and this presence heals the Death Knight by 2% of damage dealt. The heal can only be triggered by damage dealt targets that grant experience or honor points.

All three build trees have useful PvP skills. How you build your death knight depends on your playing style and the opponent you are facing. Blood build is really effective against feral druids and rogues. They can’t hurt you much with your healing abilities. Frost and Unholy build would be ideal if you are playing with a healer.

Personally, I believe the Blood and Frost hyrbid Build is really effective. You survivability greatly increases with Mark of Blood, Rune Tap, Improved Blood Presence and Vampire Blood, etc. Also great burst damage is also achieved via obliterate with the help of Hysteria and Deathchill. You can check the build here.
